Aurelion accelerates human adaptive capacity in the AI era — building the leadership, resilience and clarity that machines can't replicate, and your competitors can't copy.
As an official HRD Corp Registered Training Provider, our programs can be claimable under your company's existing HRD Corp levy.3
AI is rewriting how work works. The organizations that win the next decade won't be the ones with the best tools — they'll be the ones whose people can adapt, lead, and stay human while everything changes. The numbers below are from the world's largest workplace studies.
The skills the future rewards most aren't technical. The fastest-growing capabilities to 2030 are analytical thinking, resilience, flexibility, leadership and influence — deeply human skills AI can't replicate.1 That is precisely what we build.
Aurelion is an official HRD Corp Registered Training Provider. That means our programs can be claimable under your company's existing HRD Corp levy — the 1% of monthly payroll that registered Malaysian employers already contribute.3 Yet in 2025, more than half of eligible companies left those funds unclaimed.4 Put yours to work. Ask us how to claim.
From the boardroom to the back office, from one executive to your entire organization — learning experiences designed to change behavior, not just fill a slide deck.

Org transformationPersonality tools are everywhere, and most of them stop at putting people in four boxes. The LEONARD Personality Inventory goes further: a decade of university research, validated against how colleagues actually see you, normed in Asia, and built inside a whole-person model. Five minutes here and you'll understand your team differently.
2,400 years of personality science — with the missing piece finally added.
The LPI maps every person across five forces — Openness, Neutral, Analytical, Relational, Decisive — revealing not just what people do, but the deeper need driving why they do it.7
It yields 26 named personality styles, reads in 13 languages, and has profiled thousands of professionals across Asia, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.7 Where most tools hand you a label, the LPI hands you a working map — of yourself, and of your whole team on one page.
Hippocrates observes that people come in four temperaments — the oldest personality framework on record.
Galen names them: sanguine, choleric, melancholic, phlegmatic. The four-corner map is born.
Modern Western instruments (the DISC family and kin) put the four temperaments to work — but stop at describing behaviour.
The LPI adds the missing fifth force — Openness — grounds it in a holistic model of the whole person, and norms it in Asia.7
The LPI is anchored in classical Types & Traits theory and formulated on the Five-Factor Model of personality — the framework modern psychology considers the gold standard.7
In plain terms: the profile matches how the people who actually work with you see you.
The LPI was designed by Professor Dr. Leonard Yong at Universiti Malaya after a decade of research, then refined over 25 years of deployment across Asia and the Gulf — leader by leader, boardroom by boardroom.5
Dr. Yong is a Fulbright Visiting Scholar (1993–94, Portland State University),6 Japan Foundation Research Fellow, EU Senior Research Fellow, and author of Emotional Excellence in the Workplace and the LPI's published Norms & Technical Manual.512
Everyone has all five — your top two run the show, and the starved ones run the drama. Each force quietly demands something. Feed it, and you get the strengths column. Starve it, and you get the stress face.
The fifth force is the differentiator. Most instruments stop at four corners. The LPI's Openness isn't a corner at all — it sits in the middle of the map as a creative amplifier: high O makes whatever else you have more inventive, and licenses you to roam the map when the team needs it. In an era where AI compresses every technical moat, O is the adaptability force — which is exactly why Aurelion built its practice on the one instrument that measures it.
The LPI was never a standalone quiz. It is the measurement layer of Dr. Yong's Holistic Model of the individual — which is what separates it from a label-maker: it explains why people do what they do, not just what they do.12
Read it right to left, the way you meet a person: the ONARD behaviour you can see lives in the Body — it's the surface. Driving each visible dial is a core emotional need in the Mind:
When a need is fed, the Body shows the strengths column — ideas, calm, precision, warmth, drive. When it's starved, the same dial shows its stress face. Underneath both sits the Spirit layer: meaning, values, wellness — the thermostat of the inner life.
Emotional Excellence (EE) spans all three layers; ordinary EQ only reaches Mind and Body — which is why the LPI is one of the few instruments designed inside a whole-person development model rather than as a labelling exercise.12
The need to feel you truly belong to the relationships you're in — guarded hardest by the N and A forces. When it's starving: defensiveness, silence, over-compromise, and the quiet exits that blindside managements.12
The need to feel important to others and to add real value — chased hardest by the R and D forces. When it's starving: showboating, credit wars, steamrolling, and burnout heroics that end in collapse.12
"Pay cheques rent behaviour. These two needs buy loyalty."
Every Aurelion engagement uses the LPI to read which need is starving in which person — so development speaks to deeper motivation, and the transformation actually holds.12Dr. Yong's LPI-based programs and emotional-intelligence consultancy have served leaders across boardrooms, plants and public institutions worldwide:5811
LPI-related training was rated "Top Rated" Learning Collaborator 2003/04 by Petronas Malaysia — recognition from one of Asia's most demanding corporate universities.8
LPI profiling supported Nestlé Malaysia's nationwide youth screening & mentoring program — proof the instrument scales from boardrooms to whole communities.8
Certification matters. Here is the unbroken line that puts the LPI in Aurelion's hands.
When you work with Aurelion, you're not getting a borrowed framework. You're getting the LPI through its direct certification lineage — from Dr. Leonard Yong's research, through GEM Consultancy's master-trainer certification under David Lau, into our practice.
Few people have journeyed from a Silicon-Valley-style startup to a Himalayan monastery and back into the boardroom. That rare vantage point is the difference between information and transformation.
